Tuesday October 7th - This was one of the days that I was really looking forward to because of the arrival of the students. There are many different nationalities represented at this school from K-10. The chatter of the kids moving between classrooms all dressed neatly in their school uniforms is definitely a site to behold. Some students, who had recognized us from our previous visit stopped by to say hello.
We spent part of our day assisting teachers with technology in their classrooms as well as spending time getting our SMART Board PD organized. We presented to all of the K-5 teachers in the afternoon. They were an amazing keen bunch and proceeded to invite us go into their classrooms the following day to do sessions with the kids. Joyce, the daughter of Dr. Pang (who invited us over) arranged to take us out to a nice restaurant in downtown Shenzhen for supper. Whoa!!! What a spread of food that was presented to us, not to mention that we were treated like royalty. It was also nice to have our good friend and colleague Bruce (who joined us earlier in the day) on hand for this meal. What an incredible day!!
